Megan is our lovely House Manager at Grow Rd., who’s been with us full time since May of 2019. Megan came to us from a family-owned job of fourteen years and demonstrated a dedication and loyalty to her previous team. However, Megan needed a change and wanted a new career she could grow with. Looking back now, we are so glad she wound up on our Golden Life AFC team! She has been the perfect addition to our Grow House.

Megan loves working at Golden Life because of the unique way staff members and residents become family. She notices the difference Golden Life makes in the lives of residents every day. She says that being a part of the community here is the most rewarding part of her job. She also believes that the Golden Life team works well together to create the best environment and offer the best care to each and every resident.

When she’s not managing the Grow House, she’s likely at home making crafts with husband, John, and 5-year-old daughter, Adisen Grace. Otherwise, you can find her on a bike ride, fishing, or spending time with her parents at their lake. She also has two beautiful stepchildren, one who just made her a grandparent! Her family has always been her main passion, and her caring personality is what makes her a great addition to the Golden Life family.

Megan’s best piece of advice to someone younger than her is “don’t sweat the small stuff.” She has learned that life is too short to be anything but happy, and that loving one another is the best way to give life our best shot. Megan’s loving nature exudes out of her, and we know that each resident is better off because of her.
